Licensed Battery Installer – Renewable Energy Projects
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Licensed Battery Installer to join our growing solar and energy storage team.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled installer who is passionate about renewable energy and wants to be part of delivering high-quality battery storage solutions for residential and commercial customers across the Hunter Valley.
You’ll work with a professional team installing, commissioning, and maintaining battery energy storage systems while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Your day will involve travelling to customer sites, installing and commissioning battery storage systems, working alongside solar installers and electricians, and providing quality solutions tailored to each project.
You’ll be responsible for completing battery installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems are operating safely and correctly.
Key Responsibilities
● Install and commission residential and commercial battery storage systems
● Complete electrical works associated with battery installations
● Configure and test battery systems, inverters, and associated equipment
● Carry out fault finding,
troubleshooting, and system checks
● Ensure installations comply with Australian Standards and manufacturer requirements
● Complete job documentation and commissioning paperwork
● Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and office staff
● Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
● Experienced in battery energy storage installations
● Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
● Quality-driven with strong attention to detail
● Able to work independently and as part of a team
● Confident diagnosing and resolving installation issues
● Interested in staying at the forefront of renewable energy technology
Requirements
● electrical licence (required)
● CEC Battery Accreditation (required)
● CEC Solar Accreditation (highly regarded)
● White Card (required)
● Full Driver Licence (required)
● Experience installing and commissioning battery systems required
