Bring the Magic of Christmas to Life

Santas Agency is seeking an exceptional genuine-bearded Santa Claus to join our team for a premium Christmas photography experience in Canberra.

This is not a standard retail Santa role. We're looking for someone who can authentically embody the spirit of Santa Claus and create unforgettable memories for children and families. Previous performance experience is highly regarded, but the most important qualities are warmth, kindness, professionalism, and a genuine love of bringing joy to others.

About the Role

As Santa Claus, you will be the centrepiece of a premium Christmas experience, welcoming families, interacting with children, and posing for professional photographs. You will work alongside photographers, Mrs Claus, and Santa's Helpers to ensure every family leaves with a magical Christmas memory.

Key Responsibilities

- Portray Santa Claus professionally and authentically throughout every shift.
- Create warm, memorable interactions with children and families.
- Pose for professional Christmas photography sessions.
- Maintain Santa's character at all times while on duty.
- Work closely with photographers and support staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Assist children who may be nervous or require extra reassurance.
- Maintain exceptional presentation and professionalism throughout the season.
- Arrive punctually and prepared for each rostered shift.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

- A genuine full beard suitable for portraying Santa Claus.
- A warm, friendly, and engaging personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




- Patience and confidence when interacting with children of all ages.
- A reliable and professional work ethic.
- The ability to remain in character throughout each shift.
- Previous experience as Santa Claus, acting, theatre, entertainment, customer service or public speaking is highly regarded but not essential.

Essential Requirements

- Genuine natural beard.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration (or willingness to obtain before commencing).
- Availability throughout November and December, including weekends and selected weekdays.
- Reliable transport to Canberra work locations.
