Australasian Soccer Academy Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Football Coach to plan, deliver, and evaluate football coaching programs that enhance players’ technical, tactical, physical, and psychological performance. The successful applicant will work within the academy’s player development pathway to prepare athletes for competitive football while fostering a positive, safe, and high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, deliver, and evaluate structured football coaching sessions to develop players’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental performance.
- Teach and demonstrate football skills, including passing, dribbling, shooting, defending, and team tactics.
- Assess player performance during training and matches, providing feedback and implementing individual development plans.
- Select players for training and competition and prepare teams for matches through effective coaching strategies.
- Monitor player fitness, conditioning, and recovery, implementing injury prevention practices in collaboration with support staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Maintain coaching records, player performance reports, and ensure compliance with Football Australia regulations,



child safeguarding requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in High Performance Sport, Sports Coaching, Sport and Exercise Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant full-time (or equivalent) experience coaching football within a club, academy, school, or representative environment.
- Football Australia coaching qualifications (or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organisational, and player development skills.
