Award winning busy cafe/restaurant in Macquarie Shopping centre is looking to hire Sous Chef/Chef in a fun and high paced working setting. We open 8:30 am and usually close by 5 pm Monday to Sunday. The ideal person should have at least 2 years of cooking experience in a busy environment and able to cook western foods like linguine, some popular cuiisine like Huevos Rancheros, Chile Labneh, and others like burger, french toast, Egg Benedict, Shakshuka etc. The person must be living close to North Ryde and can commute easily to Macquarie Shopping center by Metro, bus or car.

Punctual, well mannered, good food hygiene and managing cleanliness of the work place are essential. Also important is the ability to work under pressure in a team environment. Certificate /Diploma in commercial cookery or other international equivalent is a must.

Experience in managing stocks ,



ordering essential food items from suppliers and supervising other staffs are welcome.

The job can lead to full time employment for ideal candidates after a period of successful work experience and can also lead to sponsorship if feasible.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
