Chiosco by Ormeggio is a vibrant Italian trattoria located on the water at The Spit, Mosman. Known for our fresh seafood, house-made pasta, wood-fired flavours, and relaxed atmosphere, we're looking for an experienced and energetic Restaurant All-Rounder / Section Waiter to join our close-knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an award-winning hospitality group while delivering exceptional guest experiences in one of Sydney's most picturesque waterfront locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage your own section with confidence, delivering warm and attentive service throughout each shift.
- Set, clear and reset tables to venue standards.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Provide knowledgeable food and wine recommendations, including pairing suggestions.
- Prepare and serve quality coffee during breakfast and lunch trade.
- Carry three plates confidently and assist with food running when required.
- Build genuine rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant.
- Work collaboratively with both front and back of house teams to ensure smooth service.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Section Waiter or Restaurant All-Rounder.
- Previous experience in Italian or Mediterranean dining is highly regarded.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge with confidence recommending wine pairings.




- Ability to make excellent espresso coffee.
- Current NSW RSA Certificate.
- Full Australian working rights with no work restrictions.
- Ability to carry three plates safely and confidently.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Qualified presentation with a positive, energetic attitude.
- Experience with SevenRooms or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
