We're working with multiple growing Sydney commercial builders that delivers a diverse range of fit out, refurbishment and D&C; projects across commercial offices, retail, hospitality, education and industrial sectors. With a solid pipeline of repeat business, they're looking to add an experienced Site Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for managing multiple commercial construction projects valued between $250K and $5M, ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll coordinate trades, manage programmes and maintain strong communication with clients throughout the build.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and working within a close-knit team.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site activities across commercial fit out, refurbishment and Design & Construct projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
- Build positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise delays.
- Monitor project progress and assist in achieving programme milestones.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' Site Management experience delivering commercial construction projects within Australia.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects valued between $250K and $5M.
- Experience across fit out and refurbishment commercial projects.
- Confident coordinating multiple trades and maintaining project momentum.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Trade qualification and/or relevant construction qualifications highly regarded.
- Experienced foreman encouraged to apply
- Procore, Hammertech or similar software experience
