All Energy Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a Diesel Motor Mechanic.

With a rich 40-year history in the power sector, having developed over $5.5 billion across conventional and renewable generation assets, we are committed to building and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers the nation. We are now recruiting for a highly skilled and qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic to ensure the reliability and performance of our heavy plant fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Diesel Motor Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy earthmoving and cable installation equipment. Key duties include:

- Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in heavy machinery, including excavators, posi tracks, telehandlers, and tractors.
- Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling engine assemblies, transmissions, and hydraulic systems to restore machinery to full operational capacity.
- Performing scheduled and preventive maintenance services, including pre-start checks, fluid analysis, and component inspections.
- Overhauling and reconditioning major components such as hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and diesel fuel systems.
- Ensuring all work complies with stringent site-specific safety plans,



Australian Standards (AS/NZS), and company HSE protocols.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all services, repairs, and inspections in the company's maintenance management system.
- Working closely with site supervisors and operators to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimise disruption to critical cable installation projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

- A formal Trade Certificate in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent trade qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven post-qualification experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic, specifically with earthmoving and heavy plant machinery.
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills, with experience using electronic diagnostic tools.
- A solid understanding of and commitment to Australian WHS regulations, safety protocols, and relevant industry standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Salary: $100,000 -$120,000 per Annum
