Telecommunications Field Engineers

About The Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Telecommunications Field Engineers to join our team in Burdell 4818. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a agile and growing company, working on a diverse range of projects in a collaborative and professional environment.

Tasks Include:

- Plan, design, implement and maintain complex communications and information systems
- Configuring and integrating telecom and network systems to work seamlessly with all software, hardware, workstations, connected devices, databases, and operating systems.
- Developing and receording precise logs of the specifications, physical locations, and conditions of stock, components, tools, and machinery, while updating files for communication frameworks, operational guides, legal mandates, and quality protocols.
- Providing expert guidance, sharing technical insights, and monitoring throught the telecom infrastructure, network and hardware components.
- Planning out the long-term expansion and deployment strategy for localized telecom networks that connect directly to end users
- Collaborating with commercial merchants, distributors, utility partners, and third-party contractors while auditing compliance with service level agreements and deliverables.
- Providing daily hands-on assistance in designing, optimising, troubleshooting, diagnosing,



repairing and resolving connection failures across the telecom network.

Qualifications and other requirements

- Minimum Advanced Diploma level qualification or equivalent in Telecom field.
- Recent minimum of one year of relevant experience working as a Telecommunications
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS networks, L3 routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF), and IPv4/IPv6.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to project needs
- Possesses a deep and thorough understanding of technical engineering and network design benchmarks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Well-versed in current telecommunications sector codes, mandatory standards, and legal compliance obligations.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent understanding of MPLS/IP networks, Layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF), and IPv4/IPv6 addressing schemes
- Proficiency with design systems such as Helix, Spatial Web, VMR, Meerkat, Netconfig, and MNIS.

Pay: $95,000 - $105,000 + Super
