Chef de Partie

$35.37 per hour + 12 % Super
Pyrmont, Sydney CBD

- Full time Position Monday to Friday - Take back your weekends

- Rotating roster between 6am and 6pm

THE POSITION

- Food preparation and cooking
- Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
- Friendly customer service
- Function work and large volume cooking
- Stocktake and control
- HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S; regulations
- General kitchen and cleaning duties as required.

THE PERSON

- Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)




- An understanding of Café style food advantageous
- Can be highly organised & fast paced
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
- Basic understanding of OH&S; regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
