Role details The F0 Ward at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Nurse Unit Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity To provide nursing leadership in proactively managing and coordinating clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost-effective nursing service focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based patient care within F0 Ward (Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation). About the Team F0 is a 28-bed ward specialising in Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation. It consists of 18 Orthopaedic beds, catering to Orthopaedic Elective and Trauma patients and 10 Rehabilitation beds. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals,
2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
