Permanent Full Time Workshop / Truck Mechanics Wanted

Total Harvesting Pty Ltd are seeking Heavy Duty Mechanics (Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Fitters) to fill Full Time Infield / Workshop positions working in Albany in Western Australia.

You will be joining a small well experienced team working within the forestry sector, with your scope of works largely pertaining to fleet servicing and repair of Komatsu Harvesters and Forwarders, Caterpillar Excavators and Bulldozers, along with a fleet of Kenworth and M.A.N. Prime Movers and logging trailers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful applicants will be responsible for:

- Diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy diesel and forestry equipment.
- Conducting scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Attending field breakdowns and carrying out infield repairs.
- Maintaining service records and maintenance documentation.
- Working safely in accordance with company WHS procedures.
- Supporting operational uptime of forestry and haulage equipment.

Essential Attributes

- Motivated self-starter.
- Dedicated work ethic with a can do attitude.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar field.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Proven ability to undertake mechanical diagnostics and repairs.




- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Trade certified as a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Fitter or equivalent.

Experience with agricultural / forestry equipment would be viewed upon favourably.

Employment Conditions

Equivalent annual salary package of $79,500 - $90,000 plus superannuation. Employees are paid on an hourly rate basis. Ordinary full-time hours are based on 7.6 ordinary hours per day and 38 ordinary hours per week, with additional earnings subject to operational requirements.
