MOOINK Premium BBQ Restaurant is currently seeking experienced and motivated chefs to join our kitchen team in Sunnybank.
We are looking for reliable team members who can work professionally in a busy restaurant environment and grow together with the business.
Location
Shop 9, 178 Turton Street, Sunnybank QLD
Trading Hours
Monday to Friday
- Lunch: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
- Dinner: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday
- 11:30 am - 10:00 pm
Kitchen shifts will be scheduled around the restaurant's trading hours.
Positions Available
- Full-Time Chef: Approximately 38-40 hours per week
Applicants must be available to work on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients and completing daily kitchen preparation
- Trimming, portioning and cutting premium Wagyu beef
- Preparing Wagyu cuts for plating and customer service
- Cooking and preparing menu items according to restaurant standards
- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Managing stock, food rotation and kitchen organisation
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Working efficiently with other kitchen team members during busy service periods
Preferred Experience
Applicants with experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Meat preparation and Wagyu beef handling
- Trimming, portioning and cutting premium beef
- Korean cuisine or Korean restaurant experience
- Working in a busy commercial kitchen
- A la carte restaurant experience
- Strong kitchen organisation and time-management skills
Previous Korean cuisine experience is preferred but not essential.
Training can be provided to applicants who have strong basic cooking skills, a professional attitude and a willingness to learn.

Salary and Employment Conditions
Salary and employment conditions will be discussed during the interview and determined according to experience, skills and availability.
Applicable Australian award rates will be observed.
Sponsorship opportunities may be discussed in the future with suitable experienced applicants after a period of employment and performance review.
