SJ & SL Martin - Pig Farm is a well-established primary production business based in regional Western Australia. Our farming operations include growing pigs, as well as breeding sheep and cattle and production of fodder feeds.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of farming and machinery operations, including but not limited to:

- Operate agricultural tractors fitted with various implements including front-end loaders, slasher attachments, spreaders, trailers and forks.
- Transport feed ingredients, bedding materials, equipment and supplies throughout the piggery using tractors and trailers.
- Load, unload and move bulk hay, straw, , gravel and other materials using telescopic handlers.
- Operate telescopic handlers and associated equipment for manure collection,



stockpile management and waste handling in accordance with environmental requirements.
- Spread manure or compost on designated land using tractor-towed spreaders.
- Operate machinery for road repairs and maintenance, earthmoving and general property maintenance.
- Attach, detach and safely operate a range of tractor implements and hydraulic equipment.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine servicing of tractors and mobile plant, including checking engine oil, coolant, hydraulic systems, tyres, lights and safety equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and report maintenance requirements to management.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Minimum year proven experience as an Agricultural Mobile Plant Operator
- Strong practical knowledge of agricultural machinery and farm operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Current Truck Driving Licence - preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
