Automotive Parts Sales Consultant (Used Parts & Engines)

We're looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in automotive parts interpretation, mechanical knowledge, or vehicle dismantling who enjoys building relationships and closing sales.

You'll be responsible for helping customers source quality recycled automotive parts while delivering expert technical advice and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

- Sell quality recycled automotive parts to trade and retail customers.
- Source and supply petrol and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, and other drivetrain components.
- Accurately identify parts using VINs, engine codes, manufacturer catalogues, and industry software.
- Provide expert advice on engine compatibility, replacement options, and vehicle applications.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, online platforms, and in person.
- Prepare quotations and actively follow up sales opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with mechanics, workshops, panel shops, insurers, fleet operators, and dealerships.
- Work closely with our dismantling, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Assist customers with warranty enquiries, technical support, and after-sales service.




- Contribute to team sales targets and help drive continued business growth.

What We're Looking ForEssential

- Previous experience in automotive parts interpreting, automotive parts sales, vehicle dismantling, mechanical workshops, or the automotive recycling industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive components and vehicle systems.
- Excellent understanding of petrol and diesel engines.
- Ability to interpret VINs, engine codes, and manufacturer parts catalogues.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- A confident sales approach with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Good computer skills and experience using automotive inventory or parts management systems.
