Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile and fixed plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

As a Maintenance Technician at IMS Australia, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ operations by performing high-quality maintenance and repair tasks while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Inspect and test machinery to ensure operational reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.




- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and provide on-site support as needed.

About You:

- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance roles within the mining or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence.
