Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Team on a permanent full-time basis. You will work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to provide patients with the highest level of care.

You will be primarily working in inpatient and day program rehabilitation as well as some acute ward coverage. Additional opportunities to work in the outpatient setting.

Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

About you:

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration
- Sound clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making skills
- Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation/hospital setting is desirable
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and workloads
- Confidently work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible and positive approach to work.
