We are a fast-growing, family-owned and doctor-run network of clinics looking for a Practice Nurse to join our Berwick clinic.

Previous experience in general practice will be considered favourably, however, the right personality is more important than anything else.

Programs that we use:

Best Practice
AutoMed (training will be provided)
Microsoft Office
External third party programs (training will be provided)

The role would require tasks such as:

Clinical patient care (e.g. wound care);
Triaging
Diagnostic services (e.g. ECG, wound swabs, spirometry);
Clinical data management;
Assist GP with procedures as required;
Chronic Disease Management;
Health screening/assessments.
Childhood vaccinations as per the National Immunisation Program schedule
Catch up vaccinations
Pre-employment Medical (training will be provided)
Travel vaccinations (training will be provided)
Sterilising instruments

Requirements

Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA Registration

Enrolled nurses are also welcome-Preferred 12 months' experience in a primary care clinical (non-hospital) setting
Current Police check and Working with Children check.
Current CPR

Our ideal new Practice Nurse will:





Have experience with Best Practice software; (training will be provided)
Have excellent communication skills;
Be able to work both alongside our friendly team of nurses and autonomously;
Have experience with wound management, immunisations, and COVID vaccinations;
Have experience in Chronic Disease Management, particularly around Care Plans and Health Assessments.
