This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity (38 hours per week) reporting directly to the Head of Philanthropic Giving and will work onsite at our Macquarie Park Headquarters.

Job Description

What we can offer you:

- Salary of up to $114,778+ Super, with 100% salary packaging to maximise your take home pay

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

- Support and contribute to the annual operational plan for the GIW program, including a multi-channel growth Strategy.
- Utilise the extensive supporter database, to identify, research and cultivate new leads for the GIW pipeline.
- Work collaboratively to deliver a recognition and impact program not limited to events, phone calls, mail, visits, supporter survey.
- Work with the Events and concierge team to plan, prepare and execute GIW Program events locally and nationally.
- Collaborating with the Individual Giving team to identify bequest prospects, maximise and integrate bequest lead generation activities,



conversion strategies and retention.
- Nurture and develop relationships with estate planners and solicitors.
- Ensure prospective bequestors are provided timely and relevant information and guidance about NextSense GIW program.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team, particularly in relation to communications and collateral including website, social media, print material and merchandise that promote growth within the GIW program.
- Maintaining all account-based information regarding supporters and prospects in the CRM system, including account details, value, opportunities, contact and activity planning, communications and reporting.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

- Proven experience in a similar role, or experience in related business development roles.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with individuals and their families over time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with or an understanding of database programs to support fundraising and customer management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High level of experience in customer and client service.
- Availability to attend events as required, may include interstate.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Identify goals and priorities and resolve issues in initial stages.
- A team player with strong work ethic,



a positive attitude, a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- You are obliged to become familiar with, and comply with child protection policies and legislation, as amended from time to time.
- Valid Working With Children Check and National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain).
