Civil Site Supervisors – Local Projects

Immediate Start | Be Home Every Night | Ongoing Work JRT Group has existing and upcoming civil subdivision projects across Rockhampton and Yeppoon and is seeking experienced Civil Site Supervisors to join our team.



If you are a strong leader with proven subdivision experience who takes pride in delivering quality civil works, maintaining safe job sites, and meeting project deadlines, this is your opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable local contractor. Role Overview: You will be responsible for supervising site operations across civil subdivision projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. What You’ll Be Doing: • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across civil subdivision projects • Manage and direct crews, plant operators, and subcontractors • Plan and sequence works in line with construction programs and targets • Read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and specifications • Coordinate plant, materials, and resources to maintain productivity • Ensure all works comply with quality, environmental, and project requirements • Enforce Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards and conduct site pre-starts and toolbox talks • Communicate proactively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders • Monitor progress and report on daily outputs • Complete site documentation including pre-starts, timesheets, dockets, and reports Job Requirements: • Demonstrated experience supervising civil subdivision projects (essential) • Strong understanding of subdivision construction, including earthworks, drainage, roads, and underground services • Relevant plant tickets and/or licences • Strong leadership and communication skills • Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors • Ability to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and programs • White Card (Construction Induction) • Current driver’s licence • Solid commitment to safety and quality outcomes What We Offer: • Ongoing work on established and upcoming subdivision projects • Competitive remuneration package • Supportive team environment with a growing civil contractor • Local projects – be home every nightEmail: [email protected]
