Schedule: Versatile roster across seven days, including on-call duties
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning teams, maintain service standards and provide operational support across multiple sites.
The successful candidate must be flexible, responsible and available to respond to urgent cleaning requirements when rostered on call.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support cleaning staff across multiple sites
- Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks
- Ensure cleaning work is completed according to client requirements
- Organise staff coverage for absences and emergency jobs
- Train and guide cleaners on procedures and safety requirements
- Manage cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies
- Communicate with clients and management regarding site issues
- Complete reports and provide photos and job updates when required
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in the cleaning industry
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
- Availability to work across a seven-day roster
- Availability for 24/7 on-call support when rostered
- One rostered day off per week
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Full Victorian driver’s licence
- Valid ABN
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised and able to manage staff independently
