The Role

Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our Water, Supply and Sewerage Operations team. This hands‑on role plays a vital part in maintaining and constructing essential water and sewerage infrastructure that supports our community.

Reporting to the Supervisor Network Maintenance, you will undertake a wide range of labouring, construction and maintenance tasks across Council’s water and sewerage assets. You will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team performing duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with recognised standards.

We are looking for candidates who have a positive safety mindset and can demonstrate attentiveness, alertness, cautiousness, are task focussed and team orientated.

Pre-employment Screening

Preferred candidates will be required to participate in and complete:

- A successful Functional Capacity Evaluation; and
- Be willing and able to be immunised against Hepatitis A&B; and Tetanus.

Key criteria for you to be successful in this role:

- Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
