About The Pointer People

The Pointer People provide pointer board services to numerous Real Estate Agencies throughout metropolitan Melbourne.

About You

- You are available flexibly for around 2 weekdays per week (one day early in the week and one day later in the week). You are comfortable with some days being busier than others.
- You enjoy driving and can work across a range of suburbs in the East of Melbourne. Our service area extends from Kew to Croydon and South as far as Bentleigh East.
- You enjoy working autonomously, outdoors in all weather conditions, and are known for your reliability and excellent communication.
- You are comfortable door knocking to interact with residents to request permission for installing signs on their property.
- You have a driver’s license, your own vehicle (any vehicle is fine), and basic tools (cordless drill driver, mallet, scissors).

Responsibilities

- You will install small real estate pointer board signs on street corners to support the marketing of homes for sale when they first get listed on the market.
- You will take photos and record address details of where signs have been installed, ensuring that the results of your work is submitted back.
- You will door knock on relevant street corner properties to ensure that consent is obtained prior to installing signs. Where consent is not obtained you will try alternative corners. Where nobody answers the door you will leave callback cards in letterboxes.




- At the start of each working day you will visit our warehouse located in Mount Waverley to collect all signs and materials as needed by your jobsheet.

- Earn based on the number of jobs you perform. Work independently and flexible hours across a 2 day period to complete your assigned jobs.

As a contractor you will be paid on a per job basis ranging from $23 to $36 per job (inclusive of super) depending on job requirements. Experienced installers can complete 10 jobs per day. The number of jobs varies from week to week depending on the property market conditions. Current starters should expect to take 3-4 months to become sufficiently experienced to achieve a high level of efficiency. There is a learning curve that comes with experience and only those that are patient to learn and can accept that it takes time to become efficient should apply.

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: Up to $270.00 per day
