Over the years Woodlands has grown to become one of the largest employers in the Beerwah area with a current workforce of approximately 190 employees.

As the major employer in the area, Woodlands’ staff are loyal with one employee recently retiring after 56 years of employment and a large number of staff celebrating over 15 years service with us.

Due to the size and complexity of the business, Woodlands employs a range of staff to work across various aspects of the business from working on poultry farm to shedding and equipment and transport the produce and equipment.

For Bio-Security purposes, our staff are unable to own, care or keep any avian species at home (i.e. birds, chickens, ducks etc) whilst employed at Woodlands.

Hatchery Delivery Driver/Labourer

We have a position available in our Hatchery which involves driving a manual ute and general hatchery labouring work. You are required to assist in daily hatchery operations and work within a close knit team workplace. We can offer long term, stable employment for our team members.





Qualifications and Experience

- No previous experience required
- Working in our Hatchery involves:
- Cleaning (using pressure washer) and sanitising equipment
- Driving and Hatchery work including driving a manual ute (ESSENTIAL) and/or HR truck transporting livestock to farms
- General Hatchery daily labouring operations work (sorting and moving livestock, cleaning and sanitising equipment and the hatchery)

- Manual drivers licence (for driving work)
- HR truck licence desirable (for driving work)

Key Skills and Competencies

Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

- 4am start in Hatchery
- Degree of physical fitness
- Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
- Duties will include cleaning on a daily basis
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be flexible in hours/days required to work
- Have own reliable transport
