Position Summary

The Banquet Staff member is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service during weddings, conferences, private events, and special functions. This role ensures every guest receives professional, friendly, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up event spaces according to floor plans and function sheets.
- Prepare tables with linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and décor.
- Set up buffet stations, beverage stations, and service areas.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, polished, and ready before guests arrive.
- Assist with room resets between events when required.
- Welcome guests in a warm and skilled manner.
- Serve plated meals, shared feasts, buffets, and canapé service.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements.
- Clear plates and glassware efficiently throughout service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
- Communicate dietary requirements accurately with the kitchen team.
- Maintain food quality and presentation during service.

Pay: $28.99 – $39.33 per hour
