Some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems
- Prepare construction schedules and monitor the construction process to ensure all work is completed within the timeframes
- Monitor subcontractor scope of works
- Maintain and enforce positive construction standards and quality control
- Maintain control and responsibility for the security and operation of Company-owned
equipment on the job site in conjunction with site staff
- Monitor the project construction schedule on a daily basis
- Effectively communicate and lead all on-site trades
- Relay to project manager accurately any variations or site instructions requested or carried out for the construction project
- Ensure project construction activities are carried out in a safe manner
- Maintain accurate record management
- Maintain site always in a clean and safe state
- All other directions and instructions asked of you by the Project Manager and Senior Management
To be successful you will have:
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Only
- Australian Driver’s Licence
- Highly organized, planner and problem solver
- The drive & willingness to succeed in a cutthroat industry
- Strong personal presentation and communication skills (both English and Mandarin)
- Time management and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
- At least 1-2 years experience as Site Manager.
