We’re a family-owned manor house in Yarramalong, welcoming guests for café dining, celebrations, and special days out in the country.
We’re looking for a Casual Café Chef who can bring consistency, pride, and calm energy to our kitchen — especially on weekends when we’re at our busiest.
The Role
You’ll be cooking café-style service with a focus on quality, timing, and presentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking café menu items during service
- Maintaining clean, organised workstations and strong food safety standards
- Supporting prep, stock rotation, and smooth kitchen flow
- Working collaboratively with front-of-house to deliver a outstanding guest experience
- Bringing reliability and a steady pace during busy weekend trade
We’d Love to Hear From You If You…
- Have chef/cook experience in a café or similar fast-paced kitchen
- Are confident running a section and keeping service moving
- Take pride in consistency, presentation, and flavour
- Are reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
- Are available on weekends (essential)
- Have a current food safety understanding (and relevant certificates are a plus)
