Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Telecommunications Riggers to bolster our QLD field operations capability. To be successful in the rile you must be able to install and upgrade externally mounted telecommunications equipment and associated steel work on all structures in accordance with the client specifications, standards and HSE guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to;
- RF Antenna system installation.
- Feeder System (Copper and Hybrid) installation, termination and testing.
solutions and feedback to Field Managers as required ensuring safety and quality are not sacrificed to allow the scope to be achieved.
- Identification and reporting to Project Managers/Engineers of any scope variation works required on site.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High Risk Work Licence – Dogger, Rigger (Intermediate & Advanced preferred)
- Working at heights and Rescue at Heights certification
- Construction Industry White card
- RF Awareness certification
- Valid driver licence
Must Haves:
- Being a team player and having a solutions focus.
- Proactive and positive attitude to HSE and Quality Assurance
- Experience working on carrier level telecommunications networks (NSW TA and/or Optus highly regarded)
- Solid understanding of carrier build/installation standards.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Being flexible and reliable
- Able to work in a high paced team environment
- Telecommunications Rigging experience, 2 years minimum
Remuneration:
A competitive and attractive hourly rate will be offered to successful candidates based on skill set and experience, and there is plenty of chance for overtime.
