What will you do?

As the Leading Hand Mechanical Fitter, you'll lead by example, providing technical support while coordinating the day-to-day activities of the workshop team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and mentoring a team of Mechanical Fitters
- Carrying out pump repairs, overhauls, maintenance and fault finding
- Supporting workshop operations and attending customer sites when required (approximately one week per month)




- Allocating work and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Providing technical guidance and supporting the development of the team
- Working closely with the Service Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and to customer expectations
- Promoting a strong safety culture and maintaining high-quality workmanship

What will you need?

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Demonstrated experience working on industrial pumps and rotating equipment (essential)
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian work rights without requiring sponsorship
- Disconnect/Reconnect licence (highly regarded)
