ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Service Technician, you are responsible for repairing, maintaining, and supporting barcode printers and RF scanning terminals in office and remotely, including hardware setup, diagnostics, and occasional after-hours work.

Your key focus areas will include:

- Repair and service of leading brand barcode label printers and RF scanning terminals
- Field service and in-house maintenance
- Phone and online remote support
- Wi-Fi system design, configuration and servicing
- Disassembly/assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics of barcode label printers and RF scanner terminals

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and repair services across our Melbourne customer base.

You will have:

- Electronics experience (essential)
- Trade/tertiary qualifications in electronics
- Electronic and mechanical fault diagnosis skills
- Sound knowledge of computing,



Windows and Android operating systems
- High standard of customer service
- High level of verbal communications & written skills
- Quality workmanship
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in electronic servicing industry
- Experience in Data Network Principals and Mobile Data Capture Hardware would be an advantage
- Current driver's licence
