VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to be a part of our client’s business Indo Pak Spices in Truganina. Our client offers a great working environment and a competitive salary for the right candidate.

Responsible for:

Maintaining productive management and delivery of retail operations, sales performance, staff supervision, and customer service standards.

Accountable to: Owner

Performance Appraisal: Three months after appointment, then at least annually and/or as required.

Job Description:

- Plan, organise, and manage daily retail store operations to ensure efficient workflow, high service standards, and achievement of business objectives.
- Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards in line with customer demand and business strategy.
- Formulate and implement purchasing, sales policies, including pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.
- Promote the establishment’s goods and services to maximise customer engagement and revenue.
- Supervise, recruit, train, and motivate staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Allocate duties and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stock rotation, and loss prevention.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, and financial performance.
- Analyse sales data, reports,



and customer feedback to identify trends and improve store performance.
- Ensure merchandising standards, visual displays, and product presentation align with branding and sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and relevant retail operational standards.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and efficient supply chain management.
- Provide regular performance reports and operational recommendations to management to support business growth and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a senior supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets, stock control, and sales performance.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high operational, safety, and compliance standards.

Remuneration: $75,000.00 -$85,000.00 +Superannuation
