- Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (Children’s Services)

First Academy Child Care Centre, Girraween

We are a purpose built Early Childhood Education and Care Service, based close to public transports and local parks. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Certificate III Early Childhood Educator to join our team of educators.

This is a full time position for a fun, self-motivated person with a genuine interest in the deliverance of high quality educating and care for young children. We offer training and support to help you move confidently to the next stage of your career.

Your role as a Certificate III qualified educator is to:

- Work in partnership with the Leadership team to inspire, motivate and support other educators;
- Develop and deliver an educational program that is reflective of the Early Years Learning Framework, contemporary theories / practices and the services’ policies and philosophy;
- Assist on the planning and assessment of children's learning and development, respecting each child’s ‘here and now’ while considering who they are to become;
- Engage in pedagogical reflection with other educators; critically reflect on each child's learning and development and on their own practices as part of everyday practice;
- Commit to engaging in career development, upskilling knowledge and abilities in completing high quality documentations;





Essential Criteria:

Applicants must address all selection criteria and provide the following with their application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A Working with Children Check clearance number
- Current First Aid Certificate with anaphylaxis/asthma management training
- Completed an approved child protection Statement of Attainment
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills about child safety
- Demonstrated high level of ethical and professional behaviour, including confidentiality and team work
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with children, families and staff
- Commitment to your own ongoing professional development in early childhood
- Current National Child Safety Training certification
