We're looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our Cranbourne kitchen team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated cook who enjoys preparing quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. You'll lead the kitchen operations and report to the multi-site Head Chef at the Central Kitchen to prepare authentic Indian dishes, maintain high food quality standards and contribute to a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Indian cuisine, street food and fusion dishes according to recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation, mise en place and daily kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures at all times
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory and minimising food wastage
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily operations
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Team Member in a commercial kitchen




- Experience with Indian cuisine is preferred
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
