Do you enjoy helping people feel welcome and creating great guest experiences? We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic team member to join our motel team as a Casual Guest Services Receptionist & All-Rounder.
About the Role
As one of the first faces our guests see, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Handle phone, email, and online reservations
- Process payments, check-ins, and check-outs
- Provide local information and recommendations about Horsham and the surrounding region
- Maintain a neat, professional, and guest-ready reception area
Additional Duties (during quieter periods at reception)
- Strip beds and assist housekeeping staff as required
- Wash, dry, and replenish dishes in guest rooms
- Count and organise linen deliveries
- Prepare breakfast order trays and deliver breakfast to guest rooms
- Assist with general motel operations as needed
About You
- Customer-focused with a positive and skilled attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Experience with RMS or other hotel reservation systems is preferred
- Flexible and available to work weekends when required
- Previous hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential—we are happy to train the right person

The regular work days for this position are:
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
There may also be opportunities to work additional shifts when covering for other team members who are unavailable.
