The Opportunity

This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity for an accomplished automotive retail leader to shape the future performance of the Motus Victoria Group and lead a significant portfolio of regional dealerships through its next phase of growth. As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting the commercial agenda, lifting operational performance, strengthening customer outcomes, and building capable dealership teams across a diverse multi-brand network. This is a role for a leader who enjoys the scale and influence of executive responsibility, while staying close enough to the business to inspire people, remove barriers, and ensure plans translate into disciplined execution at site level. The successful candidate will bring deep automotive retail experience, strong commercial judgement, and the leadership presence to align people, brands, OEM partners, and stakeholders around a clear performance vision. Remuneration

A competitive executive remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with the calibre, experience, and capability of the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the overall performance of the regional dealership portfolio across new vehicles, used vehicles, aftersales, finance and insurance,



customer experience, and operational support functions.

· Drive sustainable profitability through disciplined operating rhythms, effective cost control, margin improvement, performance management, and clear accountability across each site.

· Provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi-site, multi-brand dealership network, ensuring consistency of process, execution, governance, and customer standards.

· Translate group strategy into clear business plans, measurable performance outcomes, and practical actions that can be executed across the network.

· Identify and pursue growth opportunities across emerging brands, fleet, used vehicles, aftersales, and broader regional market segments.

· Lead the successful integration of new dealerships, brands, or business units into the portfolio, ensuring cultural alignment, operational stability, and performance momentum.

· Build, mentor, and retain high-performing dealership leadership teams, while developing succession pipelines and future leaders across the business.

· Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and commercial discipline.

· Build trusted and credible relationships with OEM partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards, volume objectives, customer satisfaction targets, and compliance requirements.

· Represent the business effectively at executive and board level, contributing to strategic direction, business planning, risk management, and long-term performance improvement.

· Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, environmental, workplace health and safety, and corporate governance standards across all dealerships.

About You

· Extensive senior leadership experience within automotive retail,



ideally including regional or national responsibility across multi-franchise dealership operations.

· A proven track record of leading multi-site dealership networks and delivering improved profitability, operational discipline, customer outcomes, and team performance.

· Strong commercial acumen, including P&L; ownership, financial restructuring, turnaround delivery, cost management, and margin optimisation.

· Deep experience across retail operations, used vehicles, fleet, aftersales, finance and insurance, and OEM relationship management.

· Demonstrated capability to lead through complexity, including business integration, growth, change management, and performance improvement.

· A strong understanding of OEM standards, customer satisfaction measures, compliance obligations, and the operational disciplines required to run high-performing dealerships.

· A data-led approach to decision-making, supported by sound judgement, practical execution capability, and a clear focus on measurable outcomes.

· The presence, confidence, and credibility to operate with senior executives, OEM partners, dealership principals, and board-level stakeholders.

· A balanced leadership style that combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational engagement, clear communication, and genuine people leadership.
