Front of House Server

Venue: Ming Dining – Melbourne CBD

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional service staff to join our front-of-house team. You will work under the guidance of the Floor Manager to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

- Key Responsibilities:

· Greet and seat guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food & beverages

· Maintain in-depth menu knowledge to confidently recommend dishes and drink pairings

· Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and guests' needs are attended to throughout their meal

· Handle guest inquiries promptly and escalate complaints to management when necessary

· Assist with reservation management and support private dining / group event service

· Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow

· Support opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking

- Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant service (fine dining, Chinese cuisine, or high-volume venues preferred)





· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude

· Available to work nights and weekends

· Ability to stay calm and productive under pressure

· Valid working rights in Australia

- Preferred Experience:

· Experience with group bookings or functions (20–100 guests) is a plus

· Familiarity with reservation systems

· Knowledge of wine and beverage service

· Experience in premium dining or event service highly regarded

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
