The role
We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to own new-business growth. You'll hunt, close, and build a book of SMB clients — selling connectivity and communications solutions that businesses genuinely need. This is a role for someone who backs themselves: we provide a retainer for security, and reward performance generously through commission.
What you'll do
- Generate and close new SMB accounts across phone systems, NBN, and mobile
- Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking
- Run the full sales cycle — from first contact to signed contract and handover
- Understand each client's setup and match them to the right connectivity and plan
- Maintain strong relationships that drive referrals and account growth
- Keep your CRM and reporting current
About you
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience (telecom, IT, SaaS, or similar highly regarded)
- A genuine hunter who's comfortable owning targets and prospecting for current business
- Strong communicator who can translate technical solutions into clear business value
- Self-motivated and organised, able to run your own patch with minimal hand-holding
- Full working rights in Australia and a current driver's licence
