About Us

We are a newly renovated Italian restaurant in Melbourne, bringing fresh energy, authentic flavours, and a modern dining experience. We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to work in our kitchen.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position suited to a motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure every dish meets high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- motivate the kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including prep and service
- Control portioning, and minimise waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work closely with front-of-house to ensure smooth service
- follow productive kitchen systems and workflows

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Strong background in Italian cuisine (pasta, pizza, seafood, meats, sauces)
- Leadership experience with the ability to build and manage a team




- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
- Creative and passionate about high-quality food
