About the Role

Looking to take the next step in your medical reception career?

We're seeking an Experienced Medical Receptionist / 2IC to join our friendly team at Myhealth Hurstville. Working closely with the Practice Manager, you'll play an key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic while continuing to deliver outstanding patient care.

Day in the Life

- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients in person and over the phone
- Support the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the clinic
- Coordinate appointment bookings, diary management and waitlists
- Assist patients and doctors with general enquiries
- Process Medicare and private billing accurately
- Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Provide leadership and support to the reception team when required

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

- Previous medical reception experience within General Practice (1-2 years preferred)
- Best Practice experience (highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare billing (DVA, WorkCover, HICAPS and Private Health preferred)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to step into a leadership support role
