Help foster the love of circus

NICA Rec is recruiting dedicated circus trainers who are passionate about teaching, committed to protected and inclusive practice, and excited to work with students of all ages, ranging from first-time learners to experienced participants.

This is perfect for people who: We're particularly interested in hearing from trainers who:

Love working with children and young people
Are enthusiastic, engaging, and supportive educators
Have experience teaching recreational circus students of varying ages and abilities
Can foster safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environments

Specialty Areas

We are especially seeking trainers with experience in:
Aerials: tissu, aerial hoop, static and dance trapeze, flying trapeze and other aerial disciplines
All-rounders for kids classes with aerial, tumbling and manipulation foundation skills
Hand balancing




Tumbling and acrobatics
Straps
Pole

Details about the Role

Our recreational programs operate:
Monday to Thursday evenings
Saturdays during school terms

Additional opportunities are available throughout the year, including:

School holiday programs
Workshops and birthday parties
Private tuition
Outreach and community projects
