We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Rostering & Administration Officer to join our team. This role is central to ensuring smooth daily operations, effective workforce coordination, and exceptional service delivery.
About the Role
The Rostering & Administration Officer is responsible for managing staff schedules, coordinating shift coverage, and providing administrative support across the organisation. You will work closely with Management and frontline staff to ensure participants receive consistent, reliable, and compliant support.
This role requires robust attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and adjust staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all participant shifts.
- Respond promptly to shift changes, cancellations, and urgent staffing requirements.
- Communicate roster updates clearly and professionally to staff and management.
- Ensure rostering practices align with NDIS Practice Standards, participant plans, and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate records within rostering and CRM systems.
· Organising training for staffs as per participant's requirements.
- Provide general administrative support including document preparation, data entry, and compliance tracking.
- Assist with onboarding tasks such as, interviewing, collecting staff documentation and updating personnel files.
- Liaise with participants and families regarding scheduling matters in a professional and respectful manner.
- Support incident reporting processes by ensuring timely documentation and escalation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of rostering processes and administrative workflows.

Essential Criteria
- Strong administrative skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Understanding of NDIS requirements, duty of care, and compliance obligations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination (NDIS or community services preferred).
- Proficiency with rostering or CRM systems (Brevity)
- Experience within a registered NDIS provider or disability services organisation.
- Knowledge of NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards.
- Familiarity with incident reporting and risk management processes.
