About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail showroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, leading the retail team, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, and ensuring the effective operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail showroom.
- Lead, supervise and motivate retail sales staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering and merchandising.
- Maintain attractive product displays and showroom presentation.
- Prepare staff rosters and oversee recruitment, training and performance management.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and company procedures.
- Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of retail management or retail supervisory experience.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
- Solid leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage retail operations.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
