Fortitude Protective Services is seeking skilled and reliable Retail Security Officers to join our growing team. These roles are based across high-profile retail sites, including shopping centres and standalone stores.

About the Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, and visitors. We're looking for proactive, customer-focused officers who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conducting regular patrols of retail premises and surrounding areas
- Preventing and responding to theft, shoplifting, and loss prevention incidents
- Monitoring and operating CCTV systems where required
- Identifying and reporting security risks, hazards, and suspicious behaviour
- Providing excellent customer service and support to staff and shoppers
- Assisting during emergency situations and coordinating with emergency services
- Enforcing store policies,



site procedures, and security protocols
- Maintaining accurate logs and incident reports

Requirements

- Current NSW Security Licence (mandatory)
- Current First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
- Previous experience in a retail or loss prevention security role preferred
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- High level of professionalism and presentation
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and peak trading periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-focused
