NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Internship followed by a full-time position)
This job prospect is a 3 month internship, after the internship period the applicant will be offered a full-time paid position at the firm.
Successful applicants post internship will earn between $52,000 - $55,000 PA.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Preparation of all tax compliance including Income Tax Return, Business Activity Statement and Financial Statement for Individual, Partnership, Company and Trust
- Provide all accounting and taxation services to clients, including reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and financial statements with HandiTax and Xero
- Data Entry/Bookkeeping
- Payroll System (XERO & HandiTax)
- Financial Reports
- BAS/GST Calculation & Reports
The Successful Candidate will require the following:
- University qualification in Commerce, Accounting or currently undertaking a degree in accounting
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant tax laws and regulations.
