About the role

This role combines MR manual truck driving with hands‑on concrete labouring . You’ll be part of a crew that works together to maintain and repair Parramatta’s roads and civil infrastructure.

What you will be doing

- Helping place and finish concrete across Parramatta: real, hands‑on work where you can see the results of your effort every day.

- Using a range of hand and power tools to set up formwork, prepare sites and support the crew with day‑to‑day concrete operations.

- Operating plant and machinery to carry out concrete placement, compaction and finishing, with training provided if needed.

- Driving and operating trucks to load and unload materials, tools and equipment for the civil maintenance team.

- Working as part of a tight‑knit crew, following instructions and completing concrete pours safely, smoothly and on time.

- Assisting with excavation and general site prep to keep each job running efficiently.

What’s on offer

This exciting opportunity is a Permanent Full-Time role.

Monday-Friday- 38hrs per week.

We are offering an attractive weekly rate from $1,311.74 to $1,444.47 plus 12% superannuation.

This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.

We're looking for someone with:

We’re after reliable and adaptable people who can roll with changing priorities and step up to help the crew whenever it’s needed.

You will also bring:

- Experience in Civil Works such as concrete placement and finishing
- Ability to drive MR manual transmission trucks/ vehicles safely

Be cooperative with other teams and operational areas to provide assistance when needed.
