Due to the needs of our participants, we are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Turkish-speaking Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

About the Role

You will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants in their homes and the community. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact while building meaningful relationships with participants and their families.

Turkish language skills are essential for this position, as you will be supporting participants who communicate primarily in Turkish.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and daily living activities
- Support participants to attend appointments and access the community
- Build participants' independence and life skills
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication (where appropriately trained)




- Complete progress notes and incident reports
- Follow individual support plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans
- Promote participants' choice, dignity, and independence
- Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Essential Requirements

- Fluent in Turkish and English
- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker, Aged Care Worker, or similar role
- Current Working With Children Check (where required)
- Valid Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Police check (required)
- Current Australian working rights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and skilled attitude
