Franklyn Blinds, Awnings & Security is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, solving problems, working independently, and delivering great customer service.

You will be responsible for attending customer homes across Brisbane to complete warranty repairs, servicing, adjustments and non-warranty works across our range of products.

What you’ll be doing

- Attending customer homes to diagnose and complete service repairs
- Repairing and adjusting blinds, curtains, awnings and security screens
- Troubleshooting motorised products and automation systems
- Replacing components and completing warranty works
- Providing skilled advice and solutions to customers
- Completing accurate job reports and keeping customers informed
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who combines technical ability with excellent customer service skills.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in blinds, curtains, awnings, security screens or window furnishings




- Strong hands-on repair and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in customers’ homes or on-site service environments
- Ability to diagnose issues and find practical solutions
- Positive communication skills and a professional presentation
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Current driver’s licence

Experience with motorisation, automation and electrical components would be highly regarded.
