Start Time: 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Origin Meat is a growing business supplying some of Sydney’s top restaurants with premium-quality meat. We are expanding and currently looking for a skilled Knifehand/Butcher to join our dynamic team in Banksmeadow. We pride ourselves on fast, friendly service and going above and beyond for our customers—and we’re looking for someone who shares that same mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trimming, portioning, dicing, and mincing fresh meat products
- Operating meat slicers and cutting machinery
- Loading and unloading meat products
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Keeping your work area organised and safe at all times
About You:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Knifehand or Portion Cutter
- Strong knife skills and understanding of portion control
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (around 7°C)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Permanent residency or Australian citizenship is required – we’re looking for someone long-term
