Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

· Installing, testing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, switchboards, distribution boards, lighting systems, power circuits and associated electrical infrastructure.

· Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications and technical plans to determine installation requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.

· Diagnosing electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments, identifying defective components and carrying out repairs in accordance with Australian Standards.

· Installing and terminating electrical cables, conduits, cable trays and associated fittings in residential, commercial and industrial environments.

· Testing completed electrical installations to verify safety, functionality and compliance with applicable electrical regulations and standards.

· Performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to minimise downtime and ensure operational reliability.

· Installing, servicing and repairing electrical control systems, circuit protection devices and associated equipment.

· Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code,



workplace health and safety legislation, and company procedures.

· Preparing service reports, maintenance records, testing documentation and other job-related records accurately and in a timely manner.

· Liaising professionally with clients, supervisors, contractors and other trades to coordinate work activities and ensure projects are completed efficiently.

· Maintaining electrical tools, testing equipment and work vehicles in a safe and serviceable condition.

· Identifying workplace hazards, implementing appropriate risk controls and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

· Tertiary qualification in electrical-related fields preferred.

· 1 -2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as an Electrician.

· Sound knowledge of electrical systems, electrical testing procedures and fault-finding techniques.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

· Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards, safety regulations and industry best practices.

· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

· Effective communication and organisational skills.

· Current Australian Driver Licence (preferred).
