AAA Traffic Control has been proudly servicing NSW for more than 20 years, providing complete traffic management solutions from planning and permits through to on-road implementation. We work with government departments, civil construction companies, utilities and event organisers to deliver safe, compliant and professional outcomes on every project.

We’re currently seeking a Project Planner to join our office team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of office and field work and wants to build a career with a well-established, supportive company.

As a Project Planner, your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and drafting Traffic Control Plans
- Preparing and submitting permits to Councils, Police and Transport for NSW
- Coordinating approvals, schedules and project documentation
- Liaising with clients, authorities and our internal operations team
- Conducting site inspections and validations when required
- Assisting with after-hours calls or urgent planning matters when needed
- Helping with occasional on-road tasks such as VMS setups or traffic assessments

We’re looking for someone who has:





- Strong computer skills and confidence using design or mapping software
- Great attention to detail and strong organisation skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and phone etiquette
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with Invarion RapidPlan or in traffic management (preferred but not essential)

Training opportunities are available for the right person to obtain any required qualifications such as:

- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Safework Traffic Controller (Blue Card)
- Safework Implement Traffic Control Plans (Yellow Card)
- Safework Prepare a Work Zone TMP (Orange Card)
