Job Title:

- Primary Products Inspection Officer

Job Responsibility:

- Inspect and grade fruits and vegetables to ensure compliance with grades, standards, and phytosanitary requirements

Job Duties:

- Visually inspects fruits and vegetables to determine grade and compliance with state and federal standards, industry contract specifications, and phytosanitary requirements.
- Inspects and samples of fruits and vegetables.
- Conducts trappings, surveys, and facility inspections.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal laws applicable to products.
- Checks size of fruits and vegetables, amount, and seriousness of defects.
- Observes and records colour characteristics, firmness,



maturity, and shape.
- Issues inspection report showing the grade and condition of the inspected fruits and vegetables.
- Explains, both verbally and in writing, the grading system and related standards to produce and commodity clients.
- Prepares and maintains reports, records, and forms related to the work.
- Performs related work and other tasks as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

- AQF Diploma or Higher
- 1-3 years of experience in related field

Salary:

- $80,000 - $95,000 + Superannuation

Full Time:

- 38 hours per week

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
